Party with a Purpose! Our Goal is to raise $75,000 to start the “State of Indian River Lagoon” Report Card to update our community on key measures of lagoon health. During the Lagoon Action Assembly that Marine Resources Council coordinated in May 2014, nearly 100 community leaders agreed that a report similar to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Report Card would help keep restoration efforts on course. The report needs to be funded by the community to keep it updated and honest!

Together we can bring back the Indian River Lagoon we love. The Lagoon is our community’s treasure. An abundant life-supporting resource that annually generates $4 billion for our local economy. We need to keep it healthy to keep our community productive!

MRC has been dedicated to restoring the Lagoon for over 30 years, thanks to the support of community members like you. We train and engage citizen scientists to plant shorelines, educate audiences of all ages, and advocate for the Lagoon. With your support, MRC will gather the data and the experts to produce the report card.
