Tim Glover awarded the Pepper Buster Award of the year.
Tim Glover, pictured above, has been awarded the Pepper Buster of the Year Award for his dedication to removing undesirable invasive plants along the Sebastian River. Tim Glover and other local volunteers have cleared over 170 acres since last year as part of the MRC’s Shoreline Restoration Program in Indian River County, supported by a grant from the US Fish and Wildlife Service. Brazilian pepper uses a toxin to poison and shade out native vegetation. Volunteers make a huge difference fighting the spread of invasives. To volunteer, call the MRC at (321) 504-4500 or register online
