Maureen Rupe from the Partnership for a Sustainable Future gave a presentation on Tyco Airport’s request to trim 18 to 20 feet off the top of 300 to 500 year old trees in the Enchanted Forest. Biologists with Brevard’s Environmentally Endangered Lands Program which manages the publicly owned site believe the topping would endanger the trees and unique species that depend on them.
