Karen Woods from St. Lucie County gave a presentation on the efforts to create a Florida Scenic Highway along A1A and Indian River Drive in St. Lucie County. The designation would make the area eligible for additional funding. Designation of the Indian River Lagoon Scenic Highway in Brevard and Indian River Counties have resulted in over 2 million dollars in funding for the corridor.
