GRATEFUL AKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Kudos go out to Jim Hain and Joy Hampp at
Marineland for improving the efforts of data contribution
to the understanding of right whales through the diligence
of volunteers. As always, the calving season updates
from the staff at the New England Aquarium are greatly
appreciated. A big thank you goes out to John Romaker
of Brevard County Parks and Recreation for helping Julie
Albert secure a humpback whale carcass to the beach in
the rain in February. Julie would also like to thank her
technical advisor, assistant, and husband, David Albert,
for helping her each season with this newsletter and with
getting more organized every year.
