2001-2002 New Right Whale Mothers

With 16 new calves in the population this year (three more than average), MRC wanted to introduce you to a few of the proud mothers! Listed below are the cows that gave birth this year with any information about them we could find to share with you! As of March 29, three of the mothers were still unidentified. The information presented here came from the website www.rightwhaleweb.org and from the New England Aquarium's right whale catalog. The information in the catalog is complete as of June 1999, so we apologize for any out-of-date information. All photos belong to the Right Whale Consortium and were provided by the New England Aquarium.
