    MRC would like to thank the following people for reporting whale sightings to our hotline (1-888-97-WHALE) this season. Without so many people looking for right whales and reporting the sightings to our hotline, we would not have had such a successful season. We were able to track and photo-identify a mother and calf for two and a half weeks with your efforts! We were able to determine what other species of whales were in the calving ground and prevent ship strikes. Be proud of yourselves for a job well done! Please forgive us for any omissions or misspellings of names!
